SDSU DPT grad matriculates into UCSF Residency Program

Alejandra Hernandez, one of our graduates (Class of 2019), recently started the Orthopedic Clinical Residency Program at UCSF. Dr. Hernandez had been active in research since she was an undergraduate student at SDSU, working with DPT faculty member Dr. Sara Gombatto. She is is passionate about educating on the benefits of physical therapy, improving the quality of care, and addressing disparities present in underserved populations, especially Spanish-speaking communities.
