DPT alumni earn their PhDs

Congratulations to Dr. Rowena Tam (SDSU DPT Class of 2017) and Dr. Jessica Swartz (SDSU DPT Class of 2016) on earning their PhDs from the SDSU/UCSD Joint Doctoral Program in Public Health, Health Behavior! Drs. Tam and Swartz were hooded by their faculty mentor, Dr. Lori Tuttle.  Dr. Tam has accepted a position at IQVIA, a contract research organization, on a team that works with the NBA and NFL at the league level as a sports injury surveillance epidemiologist. Dr. Swartz has accepted a position as a T32 Postdoctoral Fellow at UCSD in their Integrated Cardiovascular Epidemiology Fellowship.
