DPT students selected for President’s Award at SDSU Student Research Symposium

DPT students Cynthia Solomon, Janae Anthony, Freddy Gonzalez, Marco Patawaran, Julia Sinsay, Samantha Ungson, and Public Health PhD student Chelsea Chapman presented their research at the 2022 Student Research Symposium and CSU Student Research Competition on “A Novel Sentiment Analysis Approach for Investigating Empathic Communication in Adults with Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain in an Outpatient Physical Therapy Setting”, mentored by DPT faculty Dr. Katrina Maluf. They were selected for the SDSU President’s Award for their work. Congratulations to all!
