Bio
Kyle Kusunose PT, DPT, JSCCI is a professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at SDSU where he teaches the Clinical Anatomy Sequence (DPT 725, 726) and Neuroscience (DPT 760). He additionally serves as a High Performance Partner for the SDSU Adapted Athletics teams and as a clinical mentor in the Adapted Sports Physical Therapy clinic. Dr. Kusunose has been in private practice since 2014. In 2018, he founded Counterstrain San Diego in North County San Diego, where he continues to practice and hone his skills in the clinical application of Osteopathic Manual Medicine with his patients. Dr. Kusunose graduated from San Diego State University with his bachelors in Kinesiology (2010) and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami (2014).
